One of the biggest frustrations with grading writing is spending hours writing comments just to watch students glance at the grade and throw the assignment. In this collaborative session, we’ll look at different reasons students give for not reading the feedback. Strategies for writing effective student-centered comments will be explored, and lessons will be created that encourage students to reflect on their own writing.
